Obverse shows inscription with crossed swords, reverse imprinted with number, on pentagonal ribbon, 32 mm, near mint condition. Footnote: The Soviet military medal was instituted on 17 October 1938 and awarded for combat action resulting in a military success, courageous defense of the state borders, and successful military and political training. 2.
