Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, Refurbished Transitional Example by Rudolf Souval Province of China and bearing blue machine-embroidered numerals(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, overlaying a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four rays and four oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular plate, maker marked
