Germany, DRK. A Cross of Honour Buy Now 3888" on the reverse of(Medaille des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes). Instituted 6 April 1937 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1937 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with red enameled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular white enameled ring, bearing a central black enameled DRK style German national eagle clutching a gilt
