The hard synthetic core of the mallet head delivers the necessary power and precision, while the synthetic fleece coating achieves a pleasantly soft sound. A convenient wrist strap keeps the mallet handy at all times. The handle is made of solid maple wood. In addition, this mallet is suited for playing large metallic singing bowls with a weight of about 1,000 grams.
