Germany, Imperial. A 1914 Gold For Iron Patriotic Ring Archive in bronze (non-magnetic)(Gold fr Eisen Patriotischer Ring). A 1914 gold for iron patriotic donation ring, constructed of a magnetic iron core bearing a raised exterior inscription of GOLD GAB ICH FR EISEN (I GAVE GOLD FOR IRON), with the interior partially lined with a copper gold alloy, unmarked, measuring 22. 42 mm in total diameter, weighing 3. 8 grams, a strip of the copper gold alloy liner has been cut away, in overall very fine condition.
