This shape is really quite mesmerising because it's constructed from 3 interlocking Tetrahedrons ( 3 sided pyramids ) One might wonder why such a complex shape evolved. The name is comprised of 3 syllables. Mer = Light, Ka = Spirit and Ba = body. I always start with thinking of the 6 pointed Star of David. Two interlocking Triangles
